Reply to a customer review

The Review replies tool writes a fitting reply to each customer review for you, keeping YOUR tone, whether the review is glowing or grumpy. You will find it in your Client area, via Dashboard, then Trade Assistant.

Good to know. The trade Assistant is included from the Starter plan (the Solo plan gives access to the editorial kit only). Each generation uses 1 of your plan's monthly quota.

Open the trade Assistant and select your trade

Go to your Client area, via Dashboard, then Trade Assistant. First, select your trade from the list and click Save. This is what lets the agent write with the vocabulary and tone of your industry.

Tip. The quota counter at the top shows how many generations you have left this month. Each generation uses one, whatever the tool.

Choose the "Review replies" tab

In the trade Assistant, open the Review replies tab. Each tab is a dedicated writing tool.

Paste the customer review

Paste the text of the review you received (Google, Facebook, Trustpilot...) into the field. You can specify whether you want a shorter or a more detailed reply.

"Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed the welcome. We are working on reducing the lunchtime wait, hope to see you again soon."

Tip. Paste the whole review, context included. The more detail the agent sees (what the customer liked or complained about), the more fitting the reply.

Generate the variants

Click Generate. The agent gives you several variants in seconds, so you can pick the one that sounds most like you.

Tip. Not sold on a variant? It is only a starting point, you will be able to adjust it in the next step.

Copy, regenerate or adjust the tone

Once you have spotted the right variant, you can:

  • Copy the text in one click.
  • Regenerate for new suggestions.
  • Adjust the tone: shorter, warmer, more direct.

All that is left is to use the text, by pasting it into your reply on Google, Facebook or your review platform.

Tip. You always have the final say. Nothing is sent or published automatically, the agent prepares the text, you decide when and where to use it.

Reply fast, and reply well

Speed matters as much as substance. The tool removes the writing time, so you can post your reply while the review is still fresh.

Keep your own voice

Adjust the tone until the reply truly sounds like you. A reply in your voice builds more trust than a generic copy-paste spotted a mile away.

Never reply in the heat of the moment

Facing an unfair review, let the agent suggest a calm, professional reply. You avoid the defensive answer that backfires and that everyone reads.

Thank even a negative review

Future customers mostly watch how you react to criticism. A calm, constructive reply reassures more than a perfect rating.
